Zoe turned 5 months old on Tuesday!! Time flies and she is getting into the super fun age. Only a few more months before she's mobile. She has continued to sleep through the night this week so I'm thinking rolling onto her belly was the key. I haven't been trying baby food in the last week since she is real stuffy and wheezy again. She is also getting much closer to sitting up on her own. She is still wobbly but she'll get there.
Miley is AWESOME. She is so smart and absolutely hilarious. I LOVE 3! She's potty trained, she has a great sense of humor, and I can understand 100% of what she says. She has recently started coloring in the lines at school so that's a big milestone. She is an excellent colorer. Here is yet another example of her brillance....Yesterday afternoon when I picked them up from school, Miley's class was playing with blocks. Every kid had a group of blocks in front of them and they were stacking them or banging them together whatever one does with blocks. Miley had about 8 blocks lined up perfectly in a row with the letters facing her. When she saw me she said, "Look Mommy, I make music. Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star...". She was using her blocks as a piano/keyboard. I think that is very imaginative!

Rolly Poly
Miss Zoe can roll over from her back to her belly now!!! She did it on Friday afternoon and had mastered it by Sunday. I've found her on her belly in the crib for three nights now and for three nights she has slept until 7 am. Maybe sleeping on her belly is all she needed to sleep better. I'll knock on wood!
We went to the Exploreum on Saturday to see the giant bug exhibit. Zoe was very well behaved but had a massive blow out that went up her back almost to her neck, thank you and you're welcome. Miley had a great time. She was a little scared at first but she just closed her eyes and let Daddy carry her past all the bugs. Miley started a new thing this weekend. She started calling me a Potato Head. I guess it's from Toy Story but it was really funny. We were playing around like "lions" and she said "Don't roar at me, you Potato Head!" It was all in good fun so I laughed. She'll probably call everyone at daycare that now.
I forgot to add that I've slowly started giving Zoe baby food. We started with rice cereal which she loved. Peas came next which she also loved, suprisingly. We're on the carrots now. She doesn't seem to like them. She has a stuffy nose and has started wheezing again (thanks to bronchilitus at 3 months old) so I don't know if it is the carrots or just not feeling up to eating.

New year, new blog
I keep telling myself that I will/need to blog more. Here's yet another attempt at it. I really want to keep a blog/diary about the happenings with our second baby girl. So much is going on that I feel overwhelmed to update. So I'm just going to start with some recent milestones of Zoe's and a few things about Miley.
Zoe
On January 3, she had her 4 month well baby visit. Here is the list of Chunk's stats:
Weight: 15 lbs 2 oz At birth: 8 lbs 6 oz
Height: 25 1/4 inches At birth: 20 1/2 inches
Head: 16 1/4 inches At birth: ???
She is a growing girl, her weight and height are in the 90th percentile and her head is the 50th. Miley was the opposite with head in the 90th and weight and height in the 50th. Zoe is a great eater while Miley was always our good sleeper. Zoe wakes up almost every night around 3 am and refuses to sleep anywhere except cuddled up next to me. Miley had been sleeping in her bed again but the last week or so is back to sneaking out to the couch.
Milestones:
Last week she found her feet and she LOVES to chew, hold, and/or play with them.
She is sucking her right thumb just like Miley and is beginning to twirl my hair (just like Miley). They are so similar as babies. I look at Zoe and she is just like Miley. They are both independent and very vocal. At this age they love to cuddle Mommy and watch me eat and talk. We started Zoe on rice cereal last week on the 3rd and she is doing great. She tries really hard to take the spoon from me and feed herself. She is chewing and drooling like crazy but no teeth yet. She can roll over from her belly to her back but not quite the other way around yet. She lifts herself up while on her belly and puts all her weight on her legs.
Miley
She is doing very well in school. She has mastered her colors and beats us all the time at Candyland (she doesn't even cheat). She loves her Disney Princess movies i.e., The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. She is kind of playing with her toys from Christmas but also likes to play with random things like the vacuum and my large hardback books. She is more interested in playing with Zoe now that she is a little older and wants to help feed her cereal. She is a great big sister and I really look forward to them playing together.
