I wrote that last post yesterday, not sure why the date is messed up. So I'm on a roll 2 posts in a row!
This morning they were taking Christmas pictures at daycare. Miley and Zoe were dressed in their matching pajamas looking super cute. Zoe would not smile for anything. She just had a very concerned look on her face probably wondering why so many people were talking to her at once. Miley was eating it up!! Big grins, did everything the photographer asked. Kiss Zoe's forehead, hold this bear, sit on your knees, look at the tree...no problem. She got upset when they were all done. "No Mommy, I want to take my picture with the guy!"
We took the girls back into the baby room to change them into regular clothes. Zoe had pooped (explains the concerned look I guess) and Miley was going on and on about taking her picture with the Christmas tree so Santa would come and Trick or Treat. Proofs go out next week, very interested in seeing how they turned out.

Back to work and blogging
So I'm back at work and back to pumping. Forgot how much fun it all is ;). Each day gets a little easier but day one was really really hard. I think we may be down to one really and in 6 months or so only down to hard. So since I'm back in the swing of blogging about my babies, let's get to it.
Zoe--Miss Zobo is now 12 weeks old. The time has flown by but I'm excited for her to get bigger so she and Miley can play together. At her 4 week check up she weighed 11 lbs! At her 2 month checkup she was 13 lbs 15 oz! She's a big girl, in the 95% for both her length and weight. Zoe's head circumference is now in the 75%. Miley was the opposite bigger head, smaller body :). Zoe is sleeping better at night. Knock on wood but the last 5 nights, she's slept all night. However, she has a terrible cough so it might be that she doesn't feel very good. Big milestone last week: she found her thumb!! That's right, two thumb suckers. Oh well, it makes her happy. She gets really upset if you try to give her the pacifier when she's looking for her thumb. As for her personality she is a very happy baby. She smiles all the time and laughs in her little way. So cute!! She is also a talker just like her big sister. She loves to "tell" you about her day.
Miley--What can I say about the Miley Moo. She is awesome! She is 3 already!! Makes me very sad especially when I look at Zoe and can barely remember Miley as a baby. Miley knows her colors and can recognize some numbers and letters. She is very smart and funny. She continues to amaze me with her speech and articulation. I think since Miley won't be hitting as many milestones as Zoe I'll have to update with a quote of the day.
Glad to be back to posting :) I know I'll appreciate this when my babies are old and I need stories to embarrass them :P

Zoe is here!!
Since I have a newborn baby, I'll be able to blog again!! When I get backt to work and have to pump every 3 hours I mean. Right now Zoe is 3 weeks and 5 days old. I go back to work in 5 weeks so the blogging will begin again.
Zoe was born on August 25 weighing 8 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches long. At 2 weeks she weighed 9 lbs 4 oz, so yeah she's a big girl. She is a good sleeper only wakes up to eat then goes right back down. We didn't have any latch issues like Miley and I had so that is going well. She gets a little fussy in the late afternoons but not nearly as bad as poor Miley's fussy time.
We are all doing well. Miley loves to help with her and leaves her alone when she's sleeping. Miley and I are enjoying our time at home but we do get pretty bored. Hoping my next update will include that Zoe is sleeping all night :)

Lack of blogging-Time to catch up
The good news is I've been so busy at work but the bad news is I don't have time to blog. It's been forever and I'm sure I won't fully start blogging again until I'm pumping at work and need to keep my mind occupied for 30 minutes 3 times a day. I just wanted to log on and update anyone who still reads this and so I don't wonder a year from now what Miley was up to at 2 and 1/2. So lets begin with Miley and we'll end with the new baby :)
Miley--She is completely potty trained. She hasn't worn a pull-up for months including at night. I'm so proud/relieved not to have her in diapers or pull-ups. She talks ALL the time. If she's not sleeping then she's talking about something. We understand her 99% of the time now so she has no baby left in her. It makes me a little sad but at the same time happy that she is growing up so strong and healthy. She runs all over the place and wants to do everything we do. Stephen thinks she has ADD but I think she's just 2.5. She is slowly growing out of Elmo and into Princesses and Dinosaurs. She LOVES to swim and unfortunately still sucks her thumb. She's the little mother at daycare but we call her boss lady. She loves to boss you but at least I know she doesn't get pushed around.
Baby 2.0--Well right now I'm 26 and 1/2 weeks only 94 more days before our next baby girl arrives. That's right, it's a GIRL :) As of right now her name is Zoe Leigh but I do reserve the right to change it later ;). Things are going exactly the same as Miley, heartburn the same week for 2 days, weight gain the exact same so far, and no morning sickness. I do have a few braxton hicks contractions during the week that I didn't experience with Miley. Zoe is also A LOT more active than Miley was. I felt Miley kick once or twice a day but this girl is insane and super strong. She should weigh about 1 lb 8 oz so I don't know what it will be like with her in there when she gets bigger. I only hope that she comes a few days early just like Miley did. I already assume she will have a large head just like Miley but I can deal with it since it holds their large brains :).
Miley's thoughts on her new baby sister--I don't think she really understands. She knows Mommy has a baby in her belly but she also knows that Daddy has an elephant in his. She sings Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and her ABC's to my belly every once in a while. She also pretends to eat baby Zoe (like I got your nose). She chews on her for awhile then puts her back in my belly. Friends of ours are having a baby girl sometime in the next few weeks so that will be good practice for Miley. In the beginning of July, I'm going to really start preparing her for her baby sister. When Zoe does arrive, hopefully around our 5 year anniversary, Miley will be staying home with me during maternity leave. I hope to give her lots of little jobs to help me with the baby so she feels like a big help. She LOVES to help/manage small tasks. Only time will tell how she'll handle sharing the spotlight. I only hope that Zoe is as feisty as Miley or she'll be bossed everyday.

Happy Valentine's Day and 12 weeks
Yesterday was Valentine's Day. It was uneventful since Stephen was in Daytona but Miley was my Valentine. We relaxed all day and ate chocolate. I got her a small box of chocolates (only 4 pieces) in a heart box. She'd take a bite then give me the rest. Today is her Valentine's party at school so more candy for her. Mardi Gras is also today and tomorrow. She is out tomorrow but I don't think we'll brave all the crowds this year. I think we might someday when the kids are like 13 and 10.
Yesterday was the 12 week mark for Baby Monty II. Almost out of the first trimester already. I've been really tired lately but feeling pretty good. Today I have a bit of a headache but I think that's only because it's Monday. I had a doctor's appointment last week and everything is going well. I go again next month and then the ultrasound is at the first of April. We're still trying to decide if we should find out what we're having or wait. I wanted to wait with Miley but Stephen didn't. Now I thought I wanted to wait but don't know if I can take it. Stephen is actually leaning toward not finding out this time. I think it will be a last minute decision.

Finally an update with BIG news!
So I've finally logged back on for an update. Lots of things to share with this update:
Potty-training: It is going very well (knock on wood). Miley's been wearing regular underwear for about 2 weeks and only wearing a pull up at night and during naps. We haven't had any accidents but we've only just begun going out and about with no pull-up so I know it's bound to happen sometime. On Sunday we were in Walmart when Miley told me she had to go so I had to scoop her up and run to the front of the store. Luckily we made without a moment to spare.
New daycare: The Y closed at the first of the year so Miley's been at a new place. I don't LOVE it but I don't think I really loved the Y either. When an issue comes up, I just discuss it with her teacher and we work it out. For example they only give the kids milk at breakfast then juice the rest of the day. I do not want her drinking that much juice so she only gets one cup then water the rest of the day. Miley really likes drinking water and I'd like to keep it that way. They are really nice there and Miley seems to like it.
Milestones (other than potty-trainig): Not to much to report here. She has a very very large vocabulary now and we understand 99% of what she says. She is articulate so other people that aren't around her all the time probably understand 80%. She can count to 15 now almost 20 but seems to leave out 17 or 18 sometimes. She knows her abc's very well. She can sing lots of nusery rhymes/songs, not all as clear/correctly as abc's but still very cute. She can also sing parts of songs from the radio such as Boom boom pow, Paparazzi, Single Ladies, New York, and some rock songs that Stephen's been pushing ;). Oh and I almost forgot she loves Don't worry, be happy. I really like it when she sings that one it always makes me feel better.
BIG news: I'm pretty sure everyone who reads this blog already knows the BIG news but if not...Miley is going to be a big sister sometime at the end of August! We're really excited and I'm going to be honest a little nervous. I'm 11 weeks and 5 days right now and feeling good. Had a few days where I didn't feel so hot a couple of weeks ago but nothing to complain about. I'm one of the lucky few who just doesn't get morning sickness. My biggest problem last time was my tailbone later in the pregancy. I also fell on my tailbone when I was about 26 weeks pregnant with Miley and that made it even worse. I just recently have had some pain in that area so I have a feeling it may hurt again. Anyway, so we're really excited. Miley is too little to understand but as August comes around we'll be getting her more excited/ready for the new baby.
